Warta got blown away from the State Cup Competition with a 3:7 defeat.  It was a very very poor performance from the Warta side as nothing was going right for them right from the start of the game.  At first the team was missing most of their top players, among the absent was their first keeper Sebastian Domczewski, and two key players Ivek Halic and Krzysztof Bajdel.  In place of Domczewski, Warta B Keeper Sulocha had the responsibility which was not to impressive.  The keeper was not the only one to blame, the team started the game with ten men as Maier arrived few minutes late.  By the time he entered the field of play his team was already trailing 0:1.  At the end the team was finishing with just nine players as more injuries made it impossible to continue and with only two subs which were already  used.  There were few great sequence plays off which Marcin Sierak scored the only three goals by Warta as one of the goals came from the penalty spot.  It was a very poor performance overall as Warta find themselves out of that Competition, and now set their mind on League.
