Mexico managed by Warta coach win the 2012 NSL Cup of Nations.

Team Mexico win the 2012 NSL Cup of Nations under Polish Manager!!!

Team Mexico represented mostly by Warta players, two from Albanian Stars and one from BH Lilies Royal, captured the 2012 NSL Cup of Nations Trophy under Warta Manager Joe Teluch for first time in a very long time.

Team Mexico defeated Team Serbia in the final to win their first trophy under the manager Joe Teluch and Coaches Ramon Diaz and Jesus Robles.

Not too many Mexican players chose to represent their Country in the NSL Nations Tournament, but those who did gave their best performance leading them to a win which they lacked in long time. It was at least ten years since Mexico even won a game at the Cup of Nations, but has changed under the new Coaching Staff in 2012.

Victor Trujillo from Albanian Stars won the Top Scorer of the Tournament with 9 goals and also grabbed the MVP Award as well, as his teammates won the Championship.
