"Warta looking for a better second half of the
season!!
Warta in the Major
Division with just one win in five games will look for better second half of
the season as they return to action next week with makeup games.
First match Warta will play against Jahbat FC at home
and two days later will travel to Oak Brook to play Stare Byki Red before
returning back home against Deportivo Colomex.
Three games in just seven day stretch will be a though but could be a
productive month of July.
August 8th game against Gazelle
has been cancelled due to the Annual Baraboo Wing Tournament which
Warta
is participating in each year.
After returning back from the Wisconsin road tournament, the team will
travel to Fazier Field in Evanston to face
Jahbat FC once again, before the XXV Annual Polish Soccer Tournament of
North America on August 21-22 in which Warta
will not participate, but might be part of an Over 30 Division team.
Week after the Polish Tournament, awaits
Warta
a Polish derby against SAC Wisla to whom they lost 10:1 on the road.
The first match between these two sides is a game to forget and try
to re-bounce back and grab three crucial points at home.
August is also a month in which
Warta
will say goodbye to most of their Collage players, as they return to their
soccer duties in respectful schools.
With few great players leaving for school, Warta
has made some acquisitions to sign their replacements.
Darek Niewiarowski, Lukasz Cichowski,
Tomasz Marczewski, Bart Lasek, Rafael Castenon, Saul Castenon and Manuel
Uriostegui are just the few names which will join the team in August.
With plenty more games to play,
Warta
will be looking for victories and will try to advance up in standings to
clear of relegation zone.
The next few weeks will determine the destiny of the
team for the future seasons..
