December 30, 2008:

More players signing with the Team:

 Warta Club had made few more acquisitions during the holiday break by signing few more players.  Warta “A”  has a problem with injured players who are out of action for some time have decided to move Andrzej Ozlanski and Matt Cozza from the B Team, and bring in a striker from the C Team – Irek Baran.  Addition to that, the Club has signed a young striker Junior Aquilar who will soon be in action with the new team.

 Warta “B” after giving up two players to support the First Team, have brought in Adam Wilczewski from the C Team, and Daniel Marin from the “A” Team.  After releasing Ziggi Wojciaczyk, the team has decided to sign Ricardo Robledo a defender and a young player from Brazil, Andre de Macedo Bernert – a young striker who has been practicing with the team for two weeks, but will miss the start of 2009 year due to injury sustained during this weeks practice.

 Warta “C” has also made some addition to their roster by signing Edgar Rivera and have two more players practicing who will sign with the Club within a week..

 The changes made by the Club should slowly start to develop a better and more competitive soccer as Warta “A” has problem with scoring goals.  Another huge loss to the First Team is an injury to their best player Alan Marin who should be out for few weeks due to knee and ankle injury.  Another injuries that will effect the team are: Enrique Bello, Alex Lopez, and Mario Benitez, only Lopez is listed as active for this Fridays game as Benitez and Bello are probable for the game.

 Warta “A” has released Cruz Ruiz from the team, and Daniel Marin who signed with the B Team, another probable releases will be made soon to make room for new players..

 Warta “B” has a complete roster going into the 2009 Year but will have to make some moves by dropping few players to the C Team to give them more playing time.

The Club is building its future on young players as their goal is to participate in State and National Competitions once again with an Under 23 Team and an Open Men's Team.

Last time the club has participated in those events were in 2003 when both categories have won the State and represented their Club and the State of Illinois in Regional Finals of the USASA Amateur Cup in Detroit Michigan..
