Warta unlucky as they crash out of State Cup on penalties;

Warta are out of the State Cup in Open Division as they lost to DeKalb United on the road by penalties.  Final score of regular time was 2:2 as series of penalties had to decide who goes thru.

Warta took a lead on Michael Burzawas' goal in first half but the home side found the back of the net twice before the half time break.

IN second half, Warta dominated the game but just couldn't find a way to put the ball in the back of the net.

Chance after chance and finally with just few minutes left in the game, Aaron Moreno scored the equalizer.

Warta still had chances to finish the game in regular time in the final three minutes but missed a clear scoring opportunities and with game ended 2:2 draw, penalties were require to determine the winner which home side were better executers and after five series of penalties they found themselves thru to semifinals.

Despite being a more dominant and better team on the field, Warta found themselves out of the State Cup competition.
