New year did not bring any luck for Warta "A":

Winless streak continues for Warta “A” in New Year as they get blanked by Deportivo Meridienne 5:0..

Two goals Warta conceived on Deportivos’ one man advantage on a power play and one goal was allowed with Warta playing with 5 against 4, after a poorly executed power play fired back at them.

 The team performance was very poor, giving too much space to the opponent who just had two players on the bench but playing very smart took full advantage of the costly mistakes made by Warta players.  The team was missing three key defenders, Alan Marin and Enrique Bello, both out with injuries and for personal reasons Andrzej Ozlanski, but that was not an excuse for this loss.

 Wrong decisions and lack of creativity for the struggling Warta as they drop another game, and four points down into relegation zone early in the season.

 The team has to step up to the game and play the way they were expected to at the beginning of the season.

The team started off very well despite the loss in week one, but after that it’s just down hill as some players are forgetting how the indoor game should be played.

The team struggles not just on the defensive part but also in the offense, as they have produced just seven goals so far.

 This loss keeps Warta with just three points in six league matches and at the very bottom of the table.

With the injured players out, the team was also missing, Mario Benitez who is still out with injury, Irek Baran who was just signed from the “C” Team, and two players who will soon be release by the team Jorge Espinisa and Rigoberto Rios.

---------------------------------------- Warta "B" Recap --------------------------------------------

Huge win for Warta "B" as they crushed HNNK Hrvat "B" 7:1 on four goals from Marcin Sierak, a pair from Andres Arguello and a single shot by Greg Stephenson did all the damage to Hrvat side.

The team played well until the third goal, after that they eased off for a little bit which allowed Hrvat to take few shots on goal but the two quick goals for Warta set the tempo of the match, as they moved the ball around very well and created great scoring chances.  The score line should have been more in favor for Warta as they missed out on some of them.

The team dominated in every aspect of the game but failed to score on a power play, the goals scored by Marcin Sierak and Greg Stephenson were a lot to show for as their shots gave no chance for the Hrvat keeper.  The final minutes of the game, Hrvat started to play a little dirty making fouls and trying to go after the players, but smart plays on our half made them more frustrated and Warta cruised alone to a huge victory.

Hrvat scored their lone goal to avoid a shutout late in the game with a score 5:0 for Warta.

The team has few debutants on the pitch today, Daniel Marin, Adam Wilczewski and Ricardo Robledo who joined the team during the holiday break.

Daniel Marin had a huge impact on the team as he was one of the stand outs of the new players on the team.  Adam Wilczewski was another good aquesition to the team who has to adjust and play more in the midfield roll rather then what he is used to playing on top in the forward spot.

Marcin Sierak's four goals puts him right at the top of the standings with 11 goals in 6 League matches and six ahead of another Warta B forward Lukasz Borys.

Warta “C” suffered a huge blow out as they were trashed 1:8 by NK Podrinje.  The only goal from Wojciech Bulanda came very late in the game.

Coach Marek Urbach had just four players minutes before the game, as they kept coming the time was not enough for them to warm up and the effect was seen in the second half..
