Warta!!
Warta A played
their makeup game against undefeated RWB Adria team on Wednesday night and got
shutdown huge..
This time the coach had thirteen players to start the game
against strong side Croatian team Adria. Game was played at a
very high level from both side in the first half.
Warta, despite allowing two goals in that period, played fantastic
and created chances which they failed to convert. Adria
scored their opening goal thirty minutes into the game off a clear offside
position but the referee let the goal stand.
Few more chances were missed by both sides as Warta had their moments too, at first Armin Music shot
landed on a crossbar and Geovanni Tello missed his goal by inches as defender
cleared from the line. Jonathan Hernandez also missed a great
chance but nothing seemed to go Wartas’ way on the evening.
Gerardo Solis made great saves to keep the game close.
In second half, Adria started to get their
rhythm and the momentum of the game shifted dramatically in which they
controlled the ball. Three goals allowed by Warta in a short
distance of time, was all the opponents needed to seal the victory and push Warta out of the playoff hopes even further.
Up next Warta faces another though
opponent the Hellenic United Blue and then Hellenic United White to finish off
the season.Game
