Warta "A" vs
Chicago Pride SC (5 : 3)
Friday December 23, 2011 - Odeum Expo Sports
Center - Villa Park, Illinois
NSL League Game:
Splendor performance
brings three points in for Christmas!!
Both teams with strongly trimmed squads
finished the night on the day before Christmas Eve Day, as
Warta’s performance gave them three points.
Two goals by Aaron Romo and single goals from Junior
Aquilar, Eduardo Blancas and Rafael
Castanon gave Warta
a well deserved win 5:3 over Chicago Pride SC.
Both team didn’t have a full squad, Pride with
just six player managed to put up a great fight till the end, scoring three
goals on Warta defense on the night equaled their three scored on the season.
Warta came into this game maybe very
overconfident and that opened up the way for the opponent to score goals.
Splendor performance by Aaron Romo who scored two more
goals in this game gave Warta the win.
Game picked up a pace in the second half, its when Warta started to play the game in a way they should have
played it from the start, creating chances and holding possession of the ball.
During that time, Eduardo Blancas, Junior Aguilar and Rafael Castanon were able
to score goals.
Warta did had more chances and shots on goal, but allowing
three goals to a team which had no one on the bench shows a poor defending as a
team.
Three points for Christmas from the team as
they move closer up in standings and point behind third place Hellenic Utd Blue.
