winning streak ended by Albanian Stars!
Wartas’ winning streak
was ended with a loss to Albanian Stars by the score of 3:7. Missed
chances and defensive mistakes played a huge roll in today's defeat.
Aaron Romo scored two goals and Eduardo
Blancas scored one to pace the team, but mistakes cost them
dearly.
Game was played at a high tempo and with great
display of soccer from both sides, Albanians took the lead after a split second
lost of concentration by Warta defender
allowing the opponent to score off a free kick. Albanians got
another one before the half.
Meanwhile, Warta missed
two or three great chances with one of them being an open empty net, as Blancas
missed the ball which just needed a little redirection.
Second half, Albanians kept capitalizing on
Wartas’ mistakes and added more goals to their tallies. Aaron
Romo put Warta on the board with a great shot
to keep his team in the game, but costly mistakes put them back behind the
leaders. Later Romo scored his second goal on the night
before Blancas scored his but that was little too late for and more goals..
Team performance overall was a good one but the mistakes
and the chances they missed made them pay dearly to a very well playing Albanian
Star team who are still undefeated and share first spot with RWB Adria at the
top of standings.

Warta B lost a heartbreaker to Stare
Byki FC!
It was a night of
disappointment in some of the Warta players, coming out strong
in their last game, the players missed the same energy in this match against
Stare Byki FC who defeated the B Team by the score of 4:2..
Rafal Jaros and Edward Sacha scored the only
goals in the first half, to equal the same amount allowed.
In the second half, twice Warta had a three on one chances
which they blew and Byki came back to score two more goals on the night to seal
the victory and snatch points away from Warta.
