Warta "A"  vs  RWB Adria  (0 : 2)

Friday January 6, 2011 - Odeum Expo Sports Center - Villa Park, Illinois
NSL League  Game:

Warta played well enough to earn victory!

Warta played well enough to win against undefeated first place RWB Adria, but lacked in scoring goals.  Very good and confident performance against a very great side, Warta came out defeated but satisfied at the end with the progress.

Home side had most from the game, creating more chances which should have given them the lead, but lacked on the final decision in the opponents box.  Aaron Romo had few great chances and so did the others.  Junior Aguilar hit the upright, Rafael Castanon did the same twice and hit the cross bar, but no goals were placed in the back of the net.  Adria scored their each goal in each half on just the few occasions they had.

No one expected this kind of performance and surely Adria being the favor to win, did so but one goal from Warta would have changed the entire game.

Great performance from the entire team and two keepers Manuel Jose Gomez and Ernesto Torres who switched sides and new field player signings Kemish Gomez, Adrian Guzman, Joel Del Toro played a huge roll on this game day.

Warta still in a great chance to take over third place next week as they take on Hellenic Blue in a playoff spot shot, with this confidence the team should come out a winner.

Game Roster: M.Gomez (E.Torres) – Castanona, Garcia, K. Gomez, Guzman, Romo – Wotring, Alanis, Aguilar, Del Toro, Giamalis – Rogoz, Aguierre

CKS Warta "B"   0 : 3    Stal Mielec

Warta B falls to Stal Mielec in a Polish Derby!

The B Team didn’t play strong enough to claim the derby from Stal Mielec.  At first the keeper Alan Toledo came late for the game and Dariusz Niewiarowski had to take his place which wasn’t bad at all.

After trailing 0:1 at the half, Mielec took advantage of the miscues which Warta caused and went on to win the derby to claim third place in group half way thru the season.

Poor performance from the team and lack of heart made it impossible to get anything positive out of this game.

Game Roster: Niewiarowski (Toledo) – Kalata, Nuno, Jaros, Swanson, Grabowski – Stanek, Frykholm, Sarnowski, M. Sandoval, R. Sandoval – Jankowski, Agbejule, Falana, Kurzyukov, Petrovsky.
