Warta "A" vs  Stare Byki Red (1:3)

Warta “A” failed to keep the streak going!!

 Warta after winning huge on Friday evening over Jahbat FC at home, failed to make it two in a row in just three days as they lost to last place Stare Byki Red on the road by the score of 1:3..

Warta without most of their starting players took on Byki on the road and costly mistakes failed to advance higher in standings once again.  With the score still at 0:0, Warta skipper Traian Maier failed to convert a penalty kick as he hit the upright.  As the game progressed, struggling Warta team caught off guard and Byki went ahead off a solo effort.  The score line didn't change going into the halftime but both teams had chance to open up the game.

After the teams switched sides, Byki continued to pressure and halfway thru the second half scored a great goal from distance.  Warta loosing the possession allowed Byki to counter and get ahead. 

Adam Wilczewski finally broke thru for Warta and finished off a great pass with a goal.  Visiting Warta started to believe that they can still win the game and kept the pressure but tired legs and bodies got caught off guard again on a counter attack and found themselves down by two goals again with just five minutes left in the game.

Few great chances were spoiled as absence of Edwin Martinez and few other starting players showed presence on this very hot mid day match.

The loss keeps Warta in fourth place, but again ahead by just a point over Byki and Gazelle.
