Game Day:

Outdoor 2010 Season NSL League Games: Saturday June 5, 2010  Redmond Park - Bensenville, Illinois

Warta "A" vs  FK Republika Serpska (7:0)

Warta A with a huge win at home against FK Republika Serpska.

Warta finally got their win in a league game of the Major Division NSL , by trashing Rep. Serpska 7:0 at home in Bensenville on Saturday evening.

Warta in full control of the game from minute one, created numerous chances but came out empty in opening first few minutes of the game.  Robert Ritchie caused most of the danger from the right side as the visiting side could not stop the quick passing and constant pressure.

Home side missed great scoring chances including two empty nets, Adam Wilczewski struck a upright and Alan Marin crossbar before Edwin Martinez finally put one in the goal to open the scoreline.

Later another missed opportunities before Robert Ritchi finished off a great solo effort to make it 2:0 for the home team going into the halftime break.

In the second half of the game, the situation did not change, Lukowski finally scored his goal into an empty net and soon followed by Daniel Aronbergs’ long range shot to make it 4:0.

Zukowski’s second of the evening came halfway thru the half as he placed another empty netter to make it 5:0.

At this point the game got worst for the visitors as they were reduced to ten men for a red card shown to the their keeper for verbal abuse to the official.

While leading 5:0, Warta continued to buildup a great scoring chances but could not finish it off.  Zukowski completed his hat trick with his third goal and Adam Wilczewski closed out the night with his first goal of the season to make it 7:0 the final score.

The score is the lowest that Warta could have put on the board, despite huge win the team looked very good but still needs improvement in some areas of the game.  New signings of Robert Ritchie and Daniel Aronberg made a huge difference to the team.  Entire squad deserves a great applause for the soccer they displayed on that Saturday evening.  Micheal Tilatti earned his first shutout of the season as the defensive line broke up most of the incoming attacks from Serbian side.  Midfield needs a minor adjustment but did a very good job overall, especially on the wings.  Forwards need to finish off the chances they get and we should see a great and complete team going into the final few games of the first half of the season.

Game Roster:  Micheal Tilatti – Luke Blakely, Jorge Mojica, Alan Marin, John Guttman, Robert Ritchie, Traian Maier, Daniel Aronberg, Adam Wilczewski, Edwin Martinez, Lukasz Zukowski – Olalekan Bashiru, Eduardo Blancas.

Outdoor 2010 Season NSL League Games: Sunday June 6, 2010  Olympic Park - Schaumburg, Illinois

Warta "B" vs  NK Prijedor (1:0)

Warta B with took care of Prijedor at home!

Warta B won just 1:0 at home against NK Prijedor on goal by Andrzej Jarzabek.  Warta had huge amount of chances on goal but failed to score.  Jarzabek blew most of them before scoring the winning goal in the 78th minute of the match.   Prijedor had just few great chances but were shutdown right away by Warta defense or good goalkeeping.

The home side played very smart, keeping possession which they were dominate and shots on goal which resulted in just one goal.  Late in the first half, the referee waved off a clear penalty in Wartas’ favor on a foul to Rafal Jaros as he was brought down from behind causing an him injury which kept him out of the game for remaining time.

The switch in late second half, sending Orlowski from the wing  to the front gave immediate result as his run and hard work created the scoring chance which Jarzabek converted calmly.  Minutes later the same player again caused danger in the box as his pass to Jarzabek who scored again just to have the goal waved off for an offside call.

Well deserved victory by a small goal margin by Warta which should have been a much higher in favor of the home side proves multiple blown chances on goal.

Game Roster:  Sulocha – Wdowiarz, Post, Sarnecki, Kiebala, Tyndyk, Teluch, Gurrola, Orlowski, Jaros, Jarzabek – Leonte, Combrzynski, Madej, Panek.
