Warta "A" vs  RWB Adria (1:7)

Warta falls huge to RWB Adria on the road.

 Warta lost their third game of the season in just four matches, this time in a midweek match against league leading RWB Adria they lost 1:7 on the road.

Absentees in the defensive line and lack of finishing off scoring chances, Warta found themselves back at in the loosing column once again.

First goal, Adria got off a gifted pass from Warta midfielder just outside the sixteen yard box to take the lead.  Second goal came from the similar situation as once again a poor pass was cut off by the home side and made us pay huge. 

While being down 2:0 Warta had few great chances to score but came out empty, at first Ritchies shot ricochet off a crossbar, while Zukowskis shot was cleared off line and Gas’s shot was saved.

After missing their chances, Adria came back with a counter attack and a great ball into the box finished off with a goal to make it 3:0 for the home team.  Fourth goal, Adria scored again from a gifted collective play just outside the box, as once again the shot gave Tilatti no chance to make a save.  Adria went on to a 4:0 lead heading into the break.

In the second half, Warta had their best chance once again, but missed a one on one, instead a long ball from the keeper found an open Adria forward who scored a quick goal sending the ball over Tilatti.

Being down 5:0, Warta kept the pressure on, but once again failed to finish off a great chances, Zukowski had about three, while Gas, Aronberg, Ritchie and Martinezs’ shot sailed just by inches pass the bar or posts.

Adria went on to score two more goals before Wartas’ Edwin Martinez scored the lone cancellation goal to avoid shutout.
