Warta "A" vs  SAC Wisla "A" (5:2)

Warta tops Wisla in a match of the year!

Warta came atop of Wisla in a Polish derby game of the year as both teams sit in first place of their groups and both teams were victims of being relegated last season from Major Division.

 Warta in full control of the game as they jumped to an early 3:0 lead on goals by Lukasz Borys, Adam Wilczewski and Lukasz Zukowski.  Wisla got back into the game with two goals as Warta got too relaxed and allowed the opponents to get back into it for a moment.  But Warta jumped back and created more chances but missed open net twice before Lukasz Cichowski scored and Adam Wilczewskis’ second of the night sealed the victory for Warta.

 Warta being the First Divisions top scoring team proved their goal scoring instincts against another top team of the same division that they are serious about getting back to the Major Division for next season.  Teams’ top scorer Marcin Sierak did not score in this match but it opened an opportunity of his teammates to get on the score sheet.

Warta "B" vs  Stare Byki Red (4:1)

Warta B finally back on track!

 After four consecutive winless streak, Warta B got back into the winning column with a 4:1 win over Stare Byki Red and moved up to second place within three points of first place Wisla.

Edwin Martinez scored a pair of goals and supported by a single goals from Cruz Ruiz and Arturo Morales. 

The team played much better soccer then in the last few games which deservedly earned them a win.  Alan Marin did not score in this game but had few great chances and so did Arturo Morales who missed one-on one with the goalie twice but finally was able to place one before the final whistle.

Warta "C" vs  Chicago Dynasty FC (3:2)  

Warta C got their first win of the season!

 In a battle of last place, Warta beat Chicago Dynasty FC 3:2 on scores from Andrzej Jarzabek scoring twice and Bart Danczuk single goal.

Warta took an early 2:0 lead as Danczuk scored and Jarzabeks’ penalty kick gave Warta the lead.  Dynasty got right back in it with two goals of their own as they sent the score even at 2:2 to the half time.

In second half it was a battle of defensive plays in which Dynasty keeper came out with huge saves but finally was beaten by Jarzabeks’ second of the night with just under two minutes left in the game.

This victory gave Warta a confidence going into the next game against Real Independiente and hoping to keep the good luck winning streak alive.
